League of Women Voters

Revolution is not in the hands of the few. Revolution is in the hands of the many.

 A campaign pitched for the League of Women Voters to get women more involved in the voting process. 

Who are we talking to?
Women from the ages 16 above who will be eligible to vote in the next election. They are civic-minded and they are frustrated with the state of the country.
What do they think/feel/do now?
I don’t think it matters whether I vote or not. Things aren’t getting any better.
What do we want them to think/feel/do in the future?
Women fought for this right to vote and I want to carry on their legacy. Insight Women don’t realize that they can be the deciding factor of who gets elected. A mobile app where users and their families can spark conversations to discuss topics that are important to them. Users can play games to initiate communication, discuss childhood photos, and reflect on their own personal journey.

This was created and pitched to the LWV through the Design Management program at Pratt Institute. 
 

The app will provide users with an easy way to stay informed on the issues that matter to them and enables and empowers them to engage in the voting process. We want women voters to understand their contribution in the election and the power they yield.

We hope that users will engage with the LWV community and social platforms to broaden their scope and empathize with others around the country.
